Happy New Year!! Well...I guess it's my turn now.

Better late than never....I've always wanted to do something with or have a business with my kids. It's time to get off our tushies and stop talking, act more.

I suppose that would be considered a New Year resolution. I really don't believe in New Year's resolutions though. I think that we should make goals in our lives whenever and wherever we feel like it. Should we really wait for a 'day' to make our goals? And does making them on a certain day guarantee success? Or does it really allow us an 'out' because it was just a New Year's resolution? Nobody really sticks to those anyway, right?

This year will be a great test of my goal setting and 'resolutions'. I have come to the realization in the past several weeks that I give great advice...just ask my friends and family. But when my life is fraught with unanswered questions and doubt I am the last person to take my own advice, let alone remember it. So this year I will try to remember and take my own advice.

Chere's Resolutions:
1. Don't make resolutions.

Things I want to accomplish in 2012:
1. Blog! Keep our blog current, fun, entertaining, and useful.
2. Analyze, define and pursue the career(s) that make me truly happy. After all, we spend sooo much time at work....it's a crime to be miserable that much.
3. Travel, Travel, Travel...one of my true passions! And I want to take all my children on a family vacation this year too.
4. Spend more time with friends and family.

So there you have it in a nutshell! Stay tuned and you have my permission to hold us to our goals and resolutions.....
