Pretty Little Things

I've been finding fun little projects lately to help organize my life. And with another move looming in the near future, my living spaces seem to keep getting smaller. I'm really not a fan of small spaces. I LOVE open spaces and hate walls. But with the next move bringing me smaller rooms and more walls I figure I've got to get creative and organized. My jewelry box is a plastic drawer that sits on a shelf. I like to have things out in the open so I can see everything to make my choices easier.

This was an idea I had to make art and a functional holder for some of my jewelry.


I started with an 8 x 10 picture frame, velvet ring tray and epoxy glue (not shown).

I took the glass out of the picture frame and glued the velvet tray to the cardboard back of the picture frame. And VOILA!!

A pretty picture frame of rings!!

You can hang it on the wall or use the stand on the back and set it on a table or shelf.
