Saybher: Daughter, Wife, Mommy, and Domestic Diva in training

Interests: Fashion, Party/Event Planning, DIY, Food, and Travel

Before this last year, I might have had a hard time writing a bio about myself. However, as of October 2011, I have one spectacular aspect of my life truly worth sharing. I became a mom. Her name is Everley and having her has been the most beautiful and marvelous thing I have ever done. Needless to say, my life changed the moment I saw her sweet face and she grabbed my finger with her wee little hand. Really, 2011 was a year of many changes. It started in Alaska with my husband and I doing the whole young professionals working on our careers thing. It ended back home in the Pacific Northwest buying our first home, giving birth to our first baby, and starting my new job as a stay-at-home-wife/mommy. This new career direction is something I'm so excited about. I can't think of a more rewarding job than taking care of my little family and making our house a home. I'm looking forward to the adventure that will be 2012, and I'm so happy to share my adventures with you.

Chere:   Mommy Dolly...and yes, Nona (we don't use the 'G' word in our world) of the most special Dolly of all, Everley.

Interests: How much time do you have? It might look like a novel when I'm done.  I guess my apples don't fall far from this tree. This year my focused interest will be travel. We are a creative bunch though...so you never know when inspiration & opportunity will strike.

Unlike my fabulous daughter, Saybher, I have way too much to write in a bio. But I don't think that's a bad thing. It means that I've been around for a while & have lived much. To be honest I think I really only started living in the past 10 years (or so). It's been in these last 10 years that I started asking myself what I wanted out of life. What my passion was & is & how to pursue that every day. Don't get me wrong...I have my days when it's the end of the world, nothing is going right & I just want to stay in bed under the covers & cry. But as my kids would say...put your big girl panties on & get over it!

The older I get the wiser I get - & I was pretty smart to begin with...just ask my kids. Speaking of my kids, they are some of the reasons I haved this charmed life. Without a doubt in my mind they are (along with my husband) my inspiration, my best friends, & the loves of my life. I am blessed!

This year (& it's only days old) is already shaping up to be an interesting year. I have realized a dream of having a 'business' with my daughters (this blog) & sold my salon business to a wonderful young lady who has been at my side in the salon for many years now. With this turn of events it leaves me once again asking myself...What is & where is my passion? The future is wide open! My equally fabulous other daughter, Skye, and I have one 'problem' in common, if you want to call it that....we want to do everything, see everything, & meet everyone!! SO BRING ON LIFE!!!!
